To earn an ISA Certified Arborist® credential, one must be trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of arboriculture. An ISA Certified Arborist® has met all requirements to be eligible for the exam. This includes three or more years of full-time, eligible, practical work experience in arboriculture, and/or a degree in the field of arboriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, or forestry from a regionally accredited college or university.


Hiring a Green Gardener today can help you save money, conserve water and sustain your healthy landscape. Qualified Green Gardeners have completed a minimum of 20 hours of hands-on instruction, passed a written exam, and have a valid business license and/or are an employee or owner of a company with a valid business license. Green Gardeners may have additional qualifications, licenses, certifications.
