Joe Dunn

Joe Dunn began his career in the tree care industry in 2019 after graduating with his Bachelor of Arts at Cal Poly Humboldt University. With his roots in Sacramento, he returned to the area for a position as an Arborist Apprentice with Capital Arborists. From there, he became a foreman – perfecting the skills of tree pruning, tree removal, planting, and all things tree health.

He earned his credentials as a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture in 2022.

With his work ethic and humor, Joe enjoys talking with clients and advising them on their prized trees. He thrives on creating unique environments for each client and takes pride in preserving natural beauty in trees.

Working under the diverse leadership at Capital Arborists, Joe has been able to cultivate his knowledge in the arboricultural field and take opportunities to share his passion for trees with the Sacramento community.

After work, Joe can be found cooling his heels in the American River, or being pulled around under Sacramento’s leafy giants by his pair of beloved, unruly rescue dogs, Lupin and Mac!
