A pioneer in the Tree Care industry, Mike is an ISA Certified Arborist, Qualified Applicator, and part of our ownership team at Capital Arborists. He started his career in the tree care industry and studied at the University of Maryland before moving to California in 1996.

Driven by a mission to provide unparalleled excellence in the Tree Care Industry, Mike founded Capital Arborists in 2010 with co-owners Jeff, Lisa, and Lucy.

Mike is known for being a wealth of horticultural knowledge and inspiring those around him to succeed in the field.

Mike enjoys long rides along the American River bike trail, refurbishing vintage pinball machines, and cheering on the Washington Capitals.
