Watering
Tolerates warm weather and dry conditions well, and thrives in the Sacramento Valley area!
Pruning
Not known for being structurally problematic, but its larger size lends to the importance of having heavy and dead branches pruned regularly.
Soil and Roots
A good choice for a spacious backyard in need of a lower maintenance shade tree, but Camphor trees are ideally suited where there is space to allow their strong roots to spread away from structures and foundations.
